Tempo All Glass water still is fully automatic, waterstill giving highly pure, Pyrogen free distilled water by single distillation from normal city tap water. If the water level in the still falls below the minimum level required for safe working of quartz sheathed heater, the mains power automatically, gets cut off. Even if the still level is sufficient, but the rate of flow of water in condensor is less than what is required for complete condensation of generated system, the mains power is again cut off by another thermostatic switch. In

case, the feed water is not sufficiently pure (contains dissolved impurities in exceeds of what is allowed in municipal water) then the feed water can be first improved by passing through an Ion Exchanger and then feed seperately to Still and direct tap water fed to condensor.The still starts giving distilled water, within 10-12 minutes of switching on the mains supply. Water level is maintained automatically in the still and individual pilot lights indicate both satisfactory water level and satisfactory flow in the condensor. An alarm is provided to attract the attention of operator in case of switch off of the unit. Distillate purity is assured by the use of chemically resistant, low expansion, Boro silicate Glass, Fused Quartz and PTFE parts and polyethylene tubings. Glass parts can be easily dismantled for cleaning.
